Description

The Nightblades own the night, while backroom dealings spread their influence during the day; easily evading suspicion as they operate right under the local guard’s collective nose.

  • OVERVIEW – Let’s make a deal! Learn about Thieves’ Guilds, and what it takes to join their ranks.
  • THE SEEDY UNDERBELLY – Organize a Thieves’ Guild in your campaign with these expansive rules.
  • ROGUISH ARCHETYPES – These five subclasses are sure to skulk their way into your campaign. Introducing the Ambuscade, Grave Robber, Shadow Walker, Toxicant, and Twilight Blade.

I picked this up because my group loves sneaking around cities and getting wrapped up in shady business, and it ended up being genuinely helpful at the table. The guild rules and background details gave me just enough structure to build something interesting without feeling overwhelmed. The subclasses are fun and flavorful, and the items and NPCs helped me put together sessions quickly when players wandered off the planned path. It is not trying to reinvent the game, but it adds a lot of practical tools for anyone running urban adventures or thieves guild stories. I am glad to have it in my prep folder.
